Huge thanks to Josiah S. for visiting the Esker foundation with me and helping me fulfill my hot line bling dreams.

Kapwani Kiwanga's light room installation is breath-taking. You have to go see it to believe it, in person if you can. It was fun to model in the room, however, I recognize that this room is art in and of itself and not intended to merely be a backdrop. Her other work is insane - architectural drawings that are presented on their exact perspective points allowing you to look into a new world, and other structural elements that are thought-provoking. Her work is inherently interactive. I love also that her work makes people want to take photos with it. It breaks the cold white box gallery and creates something dynamic, and lively.
